On the German website HZwei An article by Sven Geitmann "Another Polish H2 valley begins right next to the border with Germany" was published.

It is true that the article reports the conclusion of a letter of intent regarding the commencement of work related to the establishment of the West Pomeranian Hydrogen Valley, but it reveals a kind of "interesting Polish pattern" in which voivodeships play a significant role. This is about the development of a number of hydrogen production regions, known in Poland as the H2 Valley, which geographically coincide with the administrative areas of voivodeships.

However, despite our regional scope of the West Pomeranian area, we are noticed and named in the article as:

Dolina H2 Usedom and Wollin, which specializes on a small scale in the requirements of the marine hydrogen economy.

While in Szczecin, the Minister of Climate of the Republic of Poland, Anna Moskwa, emphasized that "there are already good approaches to creating a hydrogen economy in the West Pomeranian region and that the H2 Valley will further strengthen these changes." The minister also pointed out that in some areas Western Pomerania needs additional support: "The West Pomeranian Voivodeship is a region predestined for success in hydrogen production. However, the success of the H2 Valley also depends on cooperation and the preparation of numerous hydrogen projects. Looking at the energy transformation we are undergoing, we should not be afraid of technological and financial challenges, as they often involve significant investments in human resources. This requires good cooperation with the administration, universities, science sector and industry.”
